Philosophy

From the building permit to the building inspection – you don’t have to worry about anything. We plan your house down to the last detail and can hand it over to you completely furnished. You only have one contact person throughout the entire construction phase.

Either describe to us your desired location (sea, hills, near a village, near a harbor with anchorage, lots of land, etc.) and we will suggest one or more properties and tailor them for you. This means you get your personal dream home without compromises and without the renovation that often follows the purchase of an already completed property. “It fits”.

Or you can choose one of our current properties that are under construction or renovations (e.g. in locations that are no longer suitable for development).

We work with materials typical of the island and with craftsmen who put your ideas into practice with loving attention to detail.

Our construction method is far above the usual standard, which usually lacks what makes a Mediterranean house so charming.

Elaborate field stone cladding, wooden beam clay slab ceilings, rain gutters and downpipes made of clay are part of our range and are offered and quantified directly in the building description.

If desired, antique building materials can also be used, for example in the beams for the wooden beam ceilings or floors. Details such as fountains, plant troughs or even entire outdoor kitchens are planned in from the start.

We also take care of details in the house, such as brick kitchens, built-in cupboards, tubs, bathrooms in Terazzo and the like.

Costs are generally discussed in advance.

As far as the standard of house technology is concerned, our houses are equipped with a sophisticated water system, in which, in addition to the city water supply, the house can also be supplied autonomously via domestic and drinking water cisterns. Valuable rainwater from the winter months is collected.

The houses are equipped with underfloor heating, the windows have insulated glazing and double rebates, so that the pitfalls of the Mediterranean climate, wind and especially humidity, do not spoil the most beautiful times of the year.

The double layer of masonry, the insulating natural cork and covered terraces protect them from penetrating heat and cold. Our houses are aligned and insulated so that you do not need air conditioning in summer and as little heating as possible in winter. We primarily use purely ecological materials.

Our architectural style combines the charm of the Mediterranean style, the attention to detail and the authenticity of the materials with the comfort made possible by modern technology.
