Hans-Peter came from Cologne to Santanyí, where he worked for many years as a carpenter.

After studying in Düsseldorf, he build up a reputation with his company mob design, an internationally recognized studio for architecture, interior architecture, and design.

The company’s furniture pieces have made their way to the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

Maren studied interior architecture and design in Paris, where she received her diploma in both fields in 1996 from the “Ecole Camondo”, Union des Arts Décoratifs.

There, she discovered the products of mob design at the Salon du Luminaire. Enthusiastic about the philosophy that architecture, interior design, and design cannot be separated, she applied for an internship, and that’s how their shared story began.

From this encounter, a team was formed, with complementary and mutually reinforcing skills.

The team is now also supported by their daughter, Marie, who holds a diploma in “Space Design” from EINA, Barcelona.
